Match Report
Fettes College Prep 3rd XV vs  Strathallan School Boys-U13B
On: Wednesday, 06 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

The 2nd team headed over the Forth Road Bridge for the final time to open their season against Riley House 1st Team in a training match that took the form of four quarters. Seemingly still on the bus Riley House crossed within minutes to start the scoring. It took some time to get up to speed but on the back of strong carrying from Yousef and Joffey, Fettes opened the account for the season. At half time the score was 10-7 to Riley House. The second half saw a much improved defence with terrier like tackling from Fraser and Toby, carrying on from his impressive first half Yousef crossed for Fettes' second to take the lead 12-10. Unfortunately this would be the end of the scoring for Fettes as Riley regrouped and scored from close range. Chasing the game Fettes struggled to hold on to possession and Riley House would take advantage of a stretched defence to end the scoring at 24-12. Lots of positives to take from the game but plenty to work on to aim to turn the result our way next week.
