The 1st XI were up again bright and early to play Watsons. We knew that it was going to be a tough game, so everybody made sure to play their part in defending. However, they scored an unlucky short corner in the final minutes of the first half. Both Ione Dobson and Emma Leckie defended ceaselessly, with Emma Leckie putting in some crucial tackles to keep us in the game. We were unable to convert our chances, but there were many positives to take away from the game. MVP – Emma Leckie.
