The 2nd team picked up exactly where they left off last season with a resounding five tries to one at home. It was a turbulent match with lots of players finding themselves in new positions, but the lads made a good account of themselves. They played with passion, aggression, and mindset. Jack Sutherland leading the pack in this regard, being a real nuisance to the opposition. There were lots of notable performances, especially from Luke McFarlane and Leo Wheeler but MVP goes to Archie Morris. He stepped up when the original captain had to come off injured and made a good account of himself.
