The game started, and the team quickly adapted to the wet and windy conditions. Rory Brogan scored in the first half, and we went into half-time 7-0 up. Rory scored again in the corner to bring it up to 12-0, and we had to grind to keep the score that way. The horrible conditions forced us to play mainly through the forwards, who rose to the challenge. Credit to Max Lambert as his kicking controlled the game and kept the ball in their half, Daniel Lawson and Alec Lindsay in second row coming up with some important steals, and the front row of Iain Round, Wilfred Tomlyn, and Hayden Flame for bossing the numerous scrums.
