Coming off the EA game the boys were feeling good going into the game and ready for a massive performance to be able to beat this Watsons side. We played smart phases off the lineout and eventually we scored with a very strong run to convert into points. Despite this Watsons responded well with 2 quick tries however we also kept in it and managed to grab ourselves some more points before half time. And at half time we came back out with pure determination. We came out and defended with pure grit allowing no gains for the other team and when they did make a break, we made massive efforts to get back making 3 or 4 try saving tackles while also opposing great patience and threat in attack. With 10 minutes to play the score was 17-14 and despite the onslaught attack that we endured we ended up managing to score 2 more tries through some phenomenal individual and link up play and maintain the lead and close out the win.
